EARLY IDENTIFICATION & INTERVENTION SERVICES

When a child is struggling with a learning, behavioral or emotional problem, accurate and complete evaluation is necessary in order to make a difference in his/her life.

Necessary interventions will be put in place in our program to help facilitate optimal development. Parents and caregivers will be given the support and guidance that they need to promote continuum of care at home and in school.

 

Presenting problems may include:

 

  • Aggressive Behavior

  • Speech Problems

  • Short Attention Span

  • Prenatal Exposure to Drugs and/or Alcohol

  • Infants that are difficult to comfort

  • Sleep difficulties

  • Excessive Tantrums

 

Services are provided through a contract with San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health and covered through combined funding between Medi-Cal, MHSA, and First 5 San Bernardino and will be provided by clinicians and rehabilitation specialists. Children do NOT need to have Medi-Cal to be served at our EIIS center.
